Nisa Ayral is an alumna of Arizona State University’s (ASU) Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Barrett, the Honors College. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in organizational leadership. She was a recipient of the Moeur Award and inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha.
Previously a digital marketing intern at Ideas Collide, an agency in Scottsdale, Arizona, she excels at multitasking and meeting deadlines. From the beginning stages of campaign brainstorming to exporting data reports into spreadsheets, she follows projects through completely.
Before graduating from ASU, she was a student worker and team lead in the Cronkite School’s Digital Audiences Lab, in which she serviced seven clients by growing and engaging their digital audiences through research, strategy development and implementation, SEO, paid search campaigns, paid and organic social media campaigns, content creation, digital analytics, etc. In this job, she served as a digital marketing specialist and team lead, assisting students in strategy execution, client logistics (e.g. coordinating client meetings to discuss weekly, monthly and long-term goals) and administrative tasks.
Before that, she was a marketing intern at the Arizona Humane Society, where she was in charge of various social media-based tasks, including updating the organization’s social media and website content to increase reach across platforms and analyzing success across said platforms to determine ways to improve SEO and overall reach and engagement. This was a role that allowed her love for animals to translate into a professional environment.
At the beginning of her college career, she wrote for Taylor James, Justin Bieber’s official DJ, who created an online publication called We Know the DJ. During these two years, she served as a multimedia journalist, writing weekly music-based stories, embedding engaging social media content into articles and updating fans through Twitter.
